Call of the Abyss (COA) is Identity V's annual world-class esports event, with six competitive regions: mainland China, Japan, Europe/North America, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan and South Korea.
The 2023 Call of the Abyss VI (COA VI) global qualifiers began on February 17, with six regions selecting their representative teams in turn. On April 7, a total of 20 teams, including winning teams from mainland China and seeded teams from IVL, IJL and IVC, took the stage for the COA VI World Finals.
The Call of the Abyss VI World Finals will have two offline venues, in Hangzhou, China and Tokyo, Japan. Players from teams outside mainland China will gather at the Japanese venue for the final COA competition.
The group stage began on April 7 at Tokyo Hamacho Studio, with a striking stage backed by LED displays.
